Cynthia M. Costello née Laskey, CPA
Partner
Cindy earned an accounting degree in 2005 at the University of Dayton. She completed her MBA degree from Cleveland State University in 2006 and became a Certified Public Accountant in 2008. Cindy has been with the firm since 2005 and was named a partner in 2012. She serves as a board member of the Lakewood Foundation.
William R. (Will) Costello Jr., CPA
Partner
Will is a 2004 graduate of The Ohio State University. He received his MBA from Cleveland State University in 2006 and became a Certified Public Accountant in 2013. Will serves as the fiscal officer of the Lakewood Public Library and Rocky River Public Library. Cindy and Will are married and live in Lakewood with their two sons and daughter.
Alex Baker
Alex graduated from Towson University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She joined Laskey Costello in December 2019. Alex lives in Lakewood with her husband and sons.

Mary Brennan
Mary has been with Laskey Costello for over 20 years. She earned her accounting degree from Cleveland State University in 1984. Mary and her husband Danny live in Lakewood.
Katie Costello-Bryant
Katie has been with Laskey Costello for over 10 years. She is currently completing her bachelor’s degree at the University of Toledo. Katie and her husband live in West Park with their five children.
Randy Buffington
Randy earned his bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from Baldwin Wallace University in 2017. He joined Laskey Costello in 2022. Randy and his wife live in Elyria with his dog, and three cats.
Vicky Chambers
Vicky brings a wealth of experience to Laskey Costello, with 25+ years of payroll experience and over 40 years in the banking industry. Vicki has two daughters and a son, all adults, and three grandsons. She and her husband live in Lakewood.
Anne Culi
Anne is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and has been with Laskey Costello for over 10 years. She is active in animal rescue and specializes in fostering dogs with special needs. She lives in Gates Mills with her son and pets.
Laura Doyle
Laura has been with Laskey Costello for over 20 years and is a graduate of the University of Dayton. Laura lives in Lakewood with her husband. They have two adult daughters and three grandchildren.
Karen Kaminski
Karen has more than 25 years of experience working with law firms throughout the Cleveland area. In 2023, she joined Laskey Costello, where she applies her extensive knowledge and attention to detail in her role as a file clerk. Karen resides in Westlake, where she enjoys spending time at home with her cat.
Mackenna Mulac
Mackenna graduated from Kent State University in 2019 with her bachelor’s degree in accounting. Mackenna lives in Lakewood and was an intern for the 2019 tax season before joining the firm full-time in June 2019.
Samantha Ortiz
Samantha earned her degree in Early Education and spent a decade at a play-based preschool in Long Beach, California. After moving to Lakewood with her partner and four children in 2022, she joined our team in 2025 as our Office Manager.
Holly Steiber (nee Gregersen), CPA
Holly graduated from Cleveland State University in 2021 with her bachelor’s degree in accounting and became a Certified Public Accountant in 2025. She was an intern for the 2020 and 2021 tax seasons before joining the firm full time in December 2021. Holly lives with her husband and their two dogs in Brunswick.
Jack Szmania
Jack graduated from Kent State University in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He lives in Euclid and was an intern for the 2024 tax season. He joined Laskey Costello full time in May 2025.
Jennifer Trnavsky, EA
Jennifer joined Laskey Costello in 2023. She studied accounting at Cuyahoga Community College and became an Enrolled Agent in 2019. Jennifer is the treasurer of Garfield Middle School’s PTSA where her son attends school. Jennifer and her husband Darik live in Lakewood with their family.
Kathy Wild, CPA
Kathy has been with Laskey Costello for over 29 years. She earned her accounting degree in 1987 from John Carroll University and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1989. She is married with three children and two grandchildren and lives in Sagamore Hills.
Timothy P. Laskey, CPA (retired)
We are, of course, indebted to Tim Laskey who founded the company in 1985. The firm changed its name to Laskey Costello in 2012. Tim has overseen the transition of the company to the next generation and is now retired. Tim and Patti enjoy much of the winter months in their home in Florida.
